New Recreational Facilities for The City of Calgary
No commitment exists under this Expression of Interest.
This EOI is published to garner interest in the projects from Private
Sector organizations and Not-for-Profit organizations. The City
requests organizations willing to invest in the design, build, partial
finance, maintenance and/or operation of up
to four new recreation facilities within The City of Calgary.

Youth Central (formerly Child and Youth Friendly Calgary) and The Calgary Foundation present - Youth Vital Signs
- a youth driven project that combines research and youth opinions in a
report that could influence local government, youth funders and youth
programming.
From February 8 – March 15th they’re asking youth aged 12 – 24 to measure quality of life in 12 key issue areas by completing the online survey.

Membership, notice is hereby given that the Business Meeting of the 2010 Annual General Meeting of the Calgary Sport Council shall take place at ATCO Centre (Canada Olympic Park), Calgary, on Thursday, March 18, 2010. The True Sport Foundation is now accepting applications for the True
Sport Community Fund. Grants ranging from $5,000 to a maximum of
$50,000 are available in support of sport programs that create access,
and promote inclusion for children and youth from Aboriginal,
low-income, and new Canadian families.

The Alberta Youth Olympic Symposium (AYOS) is a leadership development program for Alberta high school students.
Up to forty students in grades 10-12 will be selected to attend this 3
1/2 day residential workshop in Calgary, Alberta. It is designed for
students who have an interest in leadership and sport. AYOS 2010 will
be held April 29 - May 2, 2010 at the Ambrose University College in Calgary. Applications are due on March 31. Click here for more information.
